If your into fashion around South East Louisiana then you have heard of local fashion Blogger and local Instagram sensation Jennifer Perrault and “Haute of the Rack”! Her fashion sense and sensational style gets people’s attention. Fashion is not the only thing she focuses on shes also features travel and personal lifestyle, even covering a hurricane check list during the recent hurricane Ida. She has built an incredible online community and is the buzz around social circles on our Northshore Area of New Orleans.

She didn’t always start out as an hit on Instagram , she blogged at first. Perrault didn’t start her Instagram until 2013 and “had no idea how valuable Instagram would be to my business”. Her Instagram full of interesting stories, cool video snaps, and my favorite fashion polls. She attributes that high quality photos were the “key to gaining new followers”. as she mentioned in an article about her in 225 magazine. She also understands that followers are attracted to the mixture of high resolution and stunning images in combination with an casual I-phone pic with her baby on her hip and toys in the background that keeps things real. This natural and creative balance along with her talent and great style is why she is popular niche influencer and why she has new brands to promote and more followers every day. It doesn’t hurt that she is adorable either!

There is no doubt that with online sales increasing so is influencer marketing. 67% of brands use Instagram for influencers for their marketing. There are four levels of influencers, depending of the level of your followers. There is Mega (over one million), Macro (100k–1 million), Micro (less thank 100k) and anything below is considered Nano. It’s hard to believe just 5 years ago Perrault had just a few thousand, then with Jennifer’s Instagram debut, she quickly surpassed the Nano status. Even though she can be considered a macro influencer with her over 240K follows now on her Instagram, she will has built a huge following and trust among brands and fans alike with those who love seeing her trendy cuter posts and insight of her favorite products, even at her higher lever she has managed to keep the small town trust resembling that of a micro influencer, and persuade most local fashion moms which is exactly why she is so popular in her demographic. Even though her blog and Instagram is her main influence, she promotes her self on multi-platforms. Perrault has at lease a 5% engagement rate on Instagram, she utilizes promo codes and up swipes when she promotes the brand. Micro-influencers have better engagement rates than mega-influencers because Jennifer has worked very hard to build authenticity with her followers.
What I love about her posts the most is her diversity, great advice and her eyecatching photo shoots. I also am a big fan of her fashion polls.

I feel Haute of the Rack is Hot on instagram because she is effective for any brand she promotes, she is true professional that will be an amazing asset to any brand want to showcase. She has a proven track record, with impressive results from other partner ships with others such as Gibsonlook. She just launched her fall line for Gibsonlook and has been one of their top designer influencers. Jennifer has also collaborated with Walmart. Being a working blogging mom and wife, she knows this fashion brands more than anyone a fantastic partnership could be made if a brand is looking for an local influencer. Perrault’s knack with connecting with her audience which is demographic, which are millennials and gen -moms with an active and busy lifestyle. Brands can use micro bloggers like Haute of the rack to branch our of local demographics into global to increase brand awareness.
